When to call the Nurse

If the patient is experiencing any one of these issues, please call the 24 hour number provided by your Hospice

Resources Chat

No bowel movement for 2 days

No urination for more than 8 hours

Increasing, uncontrolled pain

New vision problems or new severe
headache

Unable to sleep and medications not
helping

Sudden change in appetite

Increasing anxiety, depression

Fall with any concern for injury

Questions or difficulty with
medications

Seizures

Unexpected or significant bleeding

New change in ability to speak or
move

Unexplained increasing abdominal
pain
